The "Bridges" International Film Festival of Peloponnese will be held from December 4th to 8th 2024 in Nafplio for the seventh year, under the auspices of the Municipality of Nafplion, organized by the Cine@Art Cultural Organization.
The city of Nafplio along with the "Bridges" International Film Festival proudly participate in the international celebration of the International Volunteer Day, with a five-day program, honoring the selfless efforts of individuals and organizations, that dedicate their actions to positive change in their communities.
The aim is to highlight the power of volunteering, to promote unity, compassion and resilience, while inspiring more people to get involved in acts of service.
After seven exclusive events of the "Bridges" International Film Festival in Nafplio, the Festival's Team has developed a content, that can put the city on the world map of important international film festivals. From this year on, special emphasis will be given to historical, fantastical, musical and philosophical cinema, as well as to recent Greek cinema, with Greek filmmakers, mainly short films, who enthusiastically honor the city of Nafplio, since the "Bridges" festival started in Nafplio in 2015. The program also includes a presentation of new technologies in the audiovisual sector, a workshop on the visual image in cinema and developments in virtual reality.
