From Friday 16th to Sunday 18th of September 2022, Fougaro Art Center invites us to a three-day celebration of jazz with 6 bands and 20 musicians, representing the modern jazz scene in Greece - from the most experimental to the most established versions.
After two years of the pandemic, which canceled this well-established festival, Fougaro Art Center this year is re-entering the jazz scene with parallel events, including workshops, music and a big exhibition of vintage photos and jazz posters from the FKP Collection.
Under the artistic direction of Haris Kavadias, the festival has established itself as an annual institution for the city and is now known throughout the country. Since the fall of 2013, when it was organized for the first time, it has given the opportunity to over 30,000 jazz fans to enjoy -free entry always- dozens of artists of established and emerging music bands.
