Plektirio - The Jumpin΄Bones Live, November 1st 2019

In our latest favorite hangout, the "Plektirio" coffee-bar in Staikopoulou street, on Friday, November 1st 2019 evening "The Jumpin’ Bones" are performing live for the first time!

 "The Jumpin 'Bones" is a Rhythm' n Blues band from Athens, created in the spring of 2014. Since then, their dynamic live performances in Greece and the positive reviews internationally awarded by the press for their first album, have established them as one of the most important contemporary bands in the Greek blues scene.
Their intensely personal sound is enhanced by the blending of early Rhythm 'n' Blues with elements from the contemporary blues scene of the US West Coast. The result is unique, modern, and extremely motivating to dance.

"The Jumpin 'Bones" band counts several live appearances in well-known Athens music scenes, such as the Six Dogs and the Half Note Jazz Club, as a band supporting dancing events (Social Ballroom: Still Got the Blues at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center) as well as performing at festivals (Ziria Music Festival, Ramones Tribute Festival at "Kyttaro" stage, Blues to the Bone Festival: A Live Tribute to BB King).
Their first album entitled "Marrow" was released digitally and on CD in November 2015 and consists of six compositions of their own and a remix, with very positive reviews from magazines and websites abroad.
