The "10th Peloponnisos International Documentary Festival" and the Kalamata Documentary Short Film Festival will take place from November 22nd to December 3rd 2024 in Kalamata and in 13 other cities of the Peloponnese (Patras, Tripoli, Amaliada, Filiatra, Sparta, Gythio, Monemvasia, Leonidio, Xylokastro, Akrata, Dimitsana and Stymphalia) including Nafplio, taking place there from November 28-30th 2024.
A great celebration dedicated to the art of documentary filmmaking, with 12 days of screenings, parallel cultural events, seminars and exhibitions, leaving its indelible mark on the shaping and communication of the cultural scene, both nationally and internationally.
Specifically, the 10th Peloponnisos International Doc. Film Festival will take place from November 22nd to December 1st 2024, while on December 2nd and 3rd, the Festival will continue with the screening of short documentaries in the framework of the Kalamata International Short Documentary Film Festival, offering a complete cinematic experience.

Peloponnisos International Doc Film Festival and Kalamata International Short Doc Film Festival are organized yearly, by the Creative Documentary Center of Kalamata, 11th Benaki str., Kalamata, GR 241-00
Seminars
The 10th Peloponnisos International Documentary Festival, among its many educational events, organizes two unique seminars: one on documentary filmmaking and one on short filmmaking, using the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.
In parallel, the Festival is organizing the specialized seminar "Crafting True Narratives: mastering the documentary", a multifaceted and intensive 6-day workshop, designed to guide participants through the documentary-making process. The workshop will take place from November 23rd to 28th in Kalamata, Greece. It is aimed at people who wish to develop their skills in directing, writing, filming, recording and editing a documentary.
Conducting Places
In Nafplio, the screenings will be held at Trianon, in Syntagma Square.
The main event of the Festival takes place every year in the city of Kalamata.

This is a documentary film festival born in 2015, with emphasis on international documentaries - with tributes, parallel events, educational zone, seminars and masterclasses, aiming to upgrade the cultural life of the wider region, to give the opportunity to a large group of people who have no access to cinemas or other major festivals to know the domestic and international Film production.
The main Festival takes place in Kalamata every year and part of the program is screened in 13 other cities of Peloponnese. The festival aims to promote European documentary filmmaking, to contribute to film education and to develop exchanges between film professionals, to develop its audience outside the Region through its communication strategy, to strengthen agreements and collaborations with other European festivals and institutions.
The "10th Peloponnisos International Documentary Festival" is supported by the Ministry of Culture & Sports, the Hellenic Film Center, the National Center for Audiovisual Media and Communication and InterAction Art.
