The magical gold dust of Christmas transformed the "Palataki" Nursery- Kindergarten into a huge, fluffy, fragrant and colorful candy house! Candies, red and white sticks, bubble gums, Christmas treats and all kinds of delicacies set up a wild party, naturally with the "kourabie" and the "melomakarona" (honey macaroons) traditional Greek Christmas sweets at the center. A sweet celebration by the children of the Station, almost as sweet as they are!

The well known Greek actress and director Carmen Rouggeri comes to Nafplio, to present us her own Christmas fairy tale entitled "The sack of apples", full of precious treasures - messages, which, among other things, talk about the joy of giving and kindness.
Participating in the event: the Municipal Philharmonic of Nafplio, the Municipal Youth Choir (teaching-conducting: the conductor-chief musician Mr. Theodossis Antoniadis), the pupils of the V & D Chronopoulou Foreign Language Center, the student chorus of the "Agia Triada" High School with instrumental accompaniment, the Association of Pontic Greeks of Argolis, with Christmas carols of the Black Sea, the Children's Choir of Nafplio, under the direction of Mr. Yiannis Nikolopoulos. A group of animators and stilt walkers amuse young and old, with Santa Claus and the Snowman.

The Municipality of Nafplio, in collaboration with the theatrical group of the Gate of Culture of Nafplio, present "To Christopsomo" (The Christmas bread) by the famous Greek writer Alexandros Papadiamantis, adapted and directed by Mrs. Emilia Valvi.
Story: Dialechti and Captain Kantakis have been married for years and still have no children. The mother-in-law offers her daughter-in-law a Christmas bread to eat, to get poisoned and die. The community, the village, speak or don't speak, remain silent and act. Some still ask "What was the fault of the unfortunate young Dialecti?" Who is to blame for the poison, the murder, the cruelty and the evil?
The performance is suitable for children aged 12+

"Christmas in Smyrna"
The Municipality of Nafplio and the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Metropolis of Argolis are holding an event, entitled "Christmas in Smyrna", in the context of the celebration of the centenary of the Asia Minor disaster and the Holy Twelve Days. The musical performance includes Christmas hymns, as well as carols and songs from various parts of Hellenism. At the same time, selected texts, also in verse, will be heard, through which we will be transported to the customs and manners, as they were carried out in cosmopolitan Smyrna, during the Christmas and New Year period.

The Municipal Cultural Organization presents Klaudia Delmer's narrative concert entitled: "Carmen and the Rebetes".
In the concert, the narration of the love story of Carmen and Antonis Seretis, the boatman, in Greece between the wars, is also an occasion to remember the anxieties and dreams of the people of that time, which are so similar to ours... All this against the background of rebetiko, where flamenco and bel canto, artistic and popular song, wink at the adventures of the well-known female personality.
The virtuoso musicians of the concert are: Michalis Nikopoulos - bouzouki, mandolin and the Korab duo: Spyros Christoglou - guitar (classical and flamenco), Evgenios Halil - acoustic guitar and bouzouki.
