Nafplio Naval Events "Naftiki Nafpliada" - August 19th-24th 2019
The Nafplio Naval Events under the name "Naftiki Nafpliada" is a celebration for the sea, for the people who serve it, for all the people who live here, who enjoy and get inspired by the sea breeze that runs through the Argolic gulf and returns to us from Bourtzi castle.
This year, the 2019 Nafplio Naval Events are being organized for the fourth consecutive year and will be based on people in our city, people we meet on the streets every day and say "Hello" to. When opening our windows in the mornings, those are the people that we feel so close to. Who are often timid and quiet, so that their skills remain to us unknown ... yet they often stand by our side...

Three Admirals Square | At 20:30
Art Exhibition at Three Admirals Square. A bunch of colors and ideas hanging from the school railings, at Amalia Avenue, at the old Customs Office... Twenty artists of our city (and elsewhere) will exhibit their artworks made with passion and talent, for the whole week of events.

We will follow the musical paths of the band "Three and One"...

Old Customs Office, Nafplio Port
Visitors will be able to enjoy the Sculpture Exhibition of Kostas Dimoulis at the Old Customs Office and then our city by night from the deck of "Mandalena" ship.

Catholic Church | At 20:30
We will enjoy a concert in the courtyard of the Church Catholic, entitled "From Classical to Baroque music" with Andreas Rentoulis and Ilias Dimopoulos

Harbor area "Π" (Pi) | At 20:30
We will be singing along with the Municipal Choir directed by Theodosis Antoniadis well known songs by Manos Hadjidakis at the "P" area of the Nafplio port

Nafplio Old Nautical Club area | At 11:00
On the premises of the old Nafplio Nautical Club, water polo matches will be held by the young athletes of the Nautical Club. Each participating athlete will receive his commemorative medal.

Harbor area "Π" (Pi) | At 20:30
On Saturday evening, the events of "Naftiki Nafpliada 2019" will summit in the harbor. The program will begin at 20:30 with speeches and throwing of a wreath in the sea by the Harbor Master of Nafplio, with the "Βarcarola" presented by amateur fishermen under the songs of the children choir directed by Theodosis Antoniades, along also with the Female Vocal Ensemble "Symphony", who will sing from a docked boat and with the throwing of fireworks from Bourtzi castle.

Parallel events throughout the "Nafpliada 2019" will have the pleasure to follow all the locals and visitors of the city.
The Nafplio Naval Events are organized for the fourth consecutive year by the Municipality of Nafplio, the Regional Unity of Argolida, the "Palamidis" Progressive Club of Nafplio and the Association of the people of origin from Nafplio living everywhere named "Nafplios".
