One of the most significant annual events in the global yachting industry, widely recognized as the largest exhibition of professional crewed luxury yachts in the world, the Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS) returns to Nafplio for the tenth time. The 10th MEDYS is scheduled to take place from Saturday, May 1st to Wednesday, May 7th 2025, every Spring remaining faithful to this enchanting city!
The capital of Argolis becomes the epicenter of marine tourism for 5 days, hosting in its picturesque harbor a multitude of impressive, luxury leisure boats and their crews. The Mediterranean Yacht Show, which is organized by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) with the support of the Municipality of Nafplio, is recognized as the most important show of its kind worldwide. It offers the opportunity to an international audience of charter brokers to see closely the vessels available for chartering in Greece and throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, to meet their crews and learn about the features and options they offer. The Mediterranean Yacht Show is an important event in the yachting agenda, because of the large number of participating vessels, the excellent level of services it offers and the idyllic location that hosts it.
The contribution of the MEDYS in the growth and development of yachting tourism in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean is unquestionable, with each year attracting greater global interest from industry professionals. The exhibition brings together central agents, brokers and exhibitors with yachting services and products, placing Greek marine tourism at a global focus.
Chefs' Competition
The Chefs' Competition will also be returning in 2025 to challenge the creativity, talent and skills of the yacht chefs. "Zero Waste" was the theme for 2023, while the Chefs' Competition of 2024 was about Cooking the Orange. This event brings together some of Greece's best chefs, each eager to showcase their prowess in a clash of culinary creativity.
The judging panel will be stellar, as always, and the organizers have lost no time in reaching out to restaurant chefs, who are cooking up a storm in the culinary world. It takes talent to recognize talent, as they say...
A schedule of social events, including receptions and parties, will add a further dimension to the show, aiming to offer an experience, that is both productive and pleasurable.

Tips
Nafplion is easily accessible, located just 1.5 hours south of Athens by car. For those seeking a quicker, more scenic arrival, a 20-minute helicopter ride from Athens International Airport is available. If you’re arriving by air, a complimentary minibus service from the Greek Yachting Association will be offered to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transfer to the town. For your convenience, private golf carts will be available to assist you in navigating the exhibition area.

On the same dates, the 2nd Exhibition of Local Products, from the local agricultural production and home-making, will take place in the port of Nafplio.
The Mediterranean Yacht Show is an initiative that aims exclusively at the international promotion of Greek high quality tourism, which is the spearhead of Greek tourism.
Τhe Mediterranean Yacht Show is organized each year by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism, with the support of the Municipality of Nafplion, as well as the Regional Administration of Peloponnese.
The 9th MEDYS presented 102 yachts with an impressive total length of 3.9 kilometers and an equally impressive waiting list (due to limited space in the port of Nafplio), surpassing by far that of previous years. The event attracted about 760 yachting professionals from 30 countries, who had the opportunity to inspect yachts with a Greek charter license, meet the crew, and discover a wide range of services and products.
