On Monday, May 15th 2023, the Music School of Argolis invites us to Nafplio, in the beautiful courtyard of the Basil Papantoniou Museum, for a classical guitar concert, on the occasion of the World Museums Day.
It is a classical music concert by the Guitar Class of the Music School of Argolis, featuring solo pieces, as well as chamber music, with works by Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Hatzidakis, and others.

The music schools of Greece (49 in number) are public secondary education schools specializing in music lessons. The first school of this kind established in Greece is the Music Gymnasium-Lyceum of Pallini, which began its operation in 1988. The Music School of Argolis is located in the village of Prosymna, in Argos.
The "B. Papantoniou" (ex Peloponnesian Folklore) Foundation (BPF) is a nonprofit institution based in Nafplion and aims at the research, preservation, study and presentation of the material culture of the Peloponnese as well as of the whole of Greece. It was founded in 1974 by Mrs. Ioanna Papantoniou in memory of her father. It is housed in the residence of B. Papantoniou, which was converted into a museum in 1981.
