29th Nafplio Music Festival - July 29th to August 2nd 2020

 Reaching its 29th year, the Nafplio Music Festival, awarded by the Union of Music Critics of Greece, is a unique opportunity for a visit to the enchanting Nafplio city. The Music Festival, a great cultural event in Nafplio, that became an institution, recognized in the collective consciousness of the citizens and visitors of Nafplio, opens its gates especially this year on July 29th 2020. It will be, however, a special Festival, with specific measures and conditions -due to the coronavirus pandemic- with the main concern being the protection of the participants, always in accordance with the directions and protocols of the competent authorities.
The Mayor of Nafplio and the artistic director and pianist Yiannis Vakarelis welcome you to the 29th Nafplion Festival, presenting a panorama of events in the most beautiful parts of the city: the "Vouleftiko" (the first Parliament of Greece), St. George's Square in front of the homonymous church (Agios Georgios), Saint Spyridon Square (Agios Spyridon church) and the city's harbor.

Did you know that?
The Nafplio Music Festival this year, due to the necessary measures and the reduced number of participants with physical presence (keeping safe distances, etc.), has arranged to place two big video walls in central parts of Nafplio and one in Tolo.
The usual normal duration of the Festival is 10 days, but especially this year, because of the delayed start, it will be only five days.
Co-organizer this year is the Region of Peloponnese.
