The 14th Catamarans Cup starts on October 26th from Alimos Marina of Attica and will end there again on November 2nd, 2024. Among other ports, it will visit Porto Heli, Paralio Astros and Nafplio, on Wednesday, October 30th.
Launched by ISTION Yachting in 2010, Catamarans Cup is a hugely popular sailing event drawing participation from over 18 countries -an international regatta ideally combining the fun of a sailing race, with a relaxing holiday week in the Greek Islands.
Delivering both, good competitive sailing and family fun, the event is open to sailors of any level of competence, who want the opportunity to share with friends and family the experience of a sailing race in the safest, most comfortable and perhaps most fun way there is!
Participants get to charter and sail race catamarans to the Greek islands, under conditions which are no different than a holiday charter, on a sail race amidst a sailing cruise in the Greek islands spanning over a week, full of prize events, parties and celebrations.
Islands of call host a special welcome to sailors, with organized local events, thematic side competitions, prizing awards and ceremonies, cocktail parties, beach BBQs, dinners and parties!
The races will be held in the Saronic and Argolic Gulf area, from October 26 to November 2, 2024. After Poros and Porto Heli, the arrival of the boats at the port of Paralio Astros will take place on Tuesday October 29th 2024, in the afternoon. An evening event will then follow, in honor of the participants. Departure from Astros on Wednesday October 30th, for Nafplio. Here at the port, the final prize giving and farewell dinner will take place, while the following day, there will be a Free Sailing Day, before returning to Alimos Marina, for Check Out and Closure.

Parallel events and entertaining happenings accompany each race. The best crew presentation at the opening ceremony, for example, wins the "Best Crew Style Award". Also, an award will be given to the "Best Dish" prepared by each crew and is judged taking into account taste, appearance, presentation and originality.
"Show-Off" award of the 14th Catamarans Cup, will be awarded for original appearances of the contestants and impressive costume combinations, in a spectacular fiesta.
Finally, there will be a photo competition for the best photos taken during the race (Shoot Off! Competition).
