Nafplio - 9th "Tour du Péloponnèse", October 7-8th 2022

The "Triskelion" Motorsport Club and the Hellenic Club of Historic Cars (ELIA) organize for the 9th consecutive year the race of Historic Cars in the Peloponnese, under the name "Tour du Péloponnèse" from October 2 to 8th 2022.
The Tour du Péloponnèse is a Regularity race, offering classic car enthusiasts an outstanding 1000km driving experience of exceptional Peloponnesian routes and the opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful regions of Greece.

The competitive part is always of great interest, since the "Triskelion" Club has been established internationally for the selection of quality routes and the perfect organization, which includes roadside assistance in case of an emergency and online results services. With 75 mainly international, but also Greek crews already participating, the "battles" on the special routes are expected to be "epic".

Programme

Sunday, October 2nd 2022
The first day of the event is Sunday, October 2nd. Briefing of foreign crews at the Grecotel Olympia Riviera Hotel in Kyllini.
Monday, October 3rd 2022
The starting ceremony takes place in Ancient Olympia on Monday, October 3rd at 11:00 with the support of the Municipal Authority. The participants will head towards Andritsaina and Karytaina, with the final destination being Vytina, competing in 4 special routes. It will be preceded by a morning guided tour for the participants, of the archaeological site and the stadium of the first Olympic games in Ancient Olympia.
Tuesday, October 4th 2022
On Tuesday, October 4th, the adrenaline rises! Starting from Vytina, the program includes 5 special routes through the wonderful Arcadian landscapes. The resting stop is at the imposing Foresta in Media Mores in Vlachokerassia. Mystras is the final destination.
Wednesday, October 5th 2022
The crews set off for another day of racing. Wednesday's plan includes 3 more special routes, the first being the spectacular Keada and with the competitors enjoying some of the most beautiful coastal routes in Greece. Stop for rest is in Kardamili and finish in the historic Areopolis.
Thursday, October 6th 2022
Race continues, through landscapes of the wild beauty of Mani. 5 more special routes before Plytra village (where also is the resting stop) and then off to Monemvassia through Agios Mammas and the unlimited view of Mitron Sea that it offers.
Friday, October 7th 2022
The contenders for the trophy will start from Monemvassia, to take part in 3 more special routes passing through Ieraka and Kyparissi, through Laconian and Arcadian landscapes, with the final destination being Nafplio, while in the evening the now infamous night's special test under the castle of Akronaflia and Palamidi will also judge this year's winner.
Saturday, October 8th 2022
Finally on Saturday, October 8th, the crews will remain in Nafplio, while in the evening the award-giving ceremony will take place for the winners, at the unique Fougaro Art Center, a point of reference for the city of Nafplio. The seventh and last day of the event is the day of departure of the foreign crews.

The "Tour du Péloponnèse" is Greece's biggest international event of historic cars. It takes place under the auspices of the Region of Peloponnese and the Municipalities of Ancient Olympia and Nafplio.
"Triskelion" (the Organizer) is a Motorsport Club, member of the Hellenic Federation of Motorsport. It's a brotherhood of passionate volunteers with the purpose of organizing Classic Cars events, respecting cars, drivers safety and fair-play.
