The historic race "Nafplio Marathon 2025" will take place on Sunday, March 30th 2025 in the magnificent city of Nafplio, after a year's absence, and registration is already open!
On Sunday 30th of March, we will all run, young and old in Nafplio, to feel the passion, the joy and the vitality of the race! We run for our personal record, for the experience, for the company, on a uniquely beautiful route in the historic city of Nafplio!
The participants have the opportunity to live an unforgettable running experience, with Palamidi castle, one of the most important monuments of Venetian fortified architecture in Greece as a background, on the lovely coastal route of the Argolic Gulf, with also the trademark of Nafplio, the castle island of Bourtzi and the old town as a background, all in the historic Nafplio!
The Nafplio Marathon is a high-quality sporting event and at the same time a pioneering production, that has created a multisided social event with a variety of actions and programs that promote sports, health, education and culture! The countdown for the Marathon and registrations, in a most beautiful destination of the country, in the enchanting Nafplio, have already started!
The Races - Starting time
08:30 - Marathon 42,2 km (adults only)
08:35 - Half Marathon 21,100 km (adults only)
11:30 - Race of 5 km (12+ years old)
12:30 - Race of 1 km
Medal Awards: 11:00 – 13:00
Starting - Finishing point
The start of the marathon and half-marathon takes place in front of Three Admirals Square (Town Hall) and Kapodistria Square, specifically on Andreas Syngrou Street.
The start of the 5km and 1km races will be on the coastal Boumboulinas Avenue, in front of Philellinon Square.
The finish of all races will be in the designated area in front of the Three Admirals (Town Hall) and Kapodistria squares.
Support functions for all races will be held at the Three Admirals (Dimarchion) and Kapodistria squares, on Amalias Avenue.

Registrations are accepted until Friday 21 March 2025.

Special bus service from Athens

The route of the Marathon (42,195 km) consists of two turns of the Half-Marathon route.
The race courses of the Nafplio Marathon 2025 are certified by World Athletics and Aims International.
The "Nafplio Marathon 2025" race is organized by the Municipality of Nafplio, with the support of the Region of Peloponnese.
The 1st Nafplio Marathon was held with great success on March 23rd 2014 and has now become an institution.
