The Municipality of Nafplio and the Diocese of Argolis are organizing an event entitled "Christmas in Smyrna", on Monday, December 19th 2022 at the Cultural Center of the Virgin Mary of Nafplio ("Evangelistria"), with a recitation by Mrs. Natalia Dragoumis.
Mr. Giorgos Dovolos is the artistic curator and also performs, together with Mr. Grigoris Kakouris. The beloved Greek actress Mrs. Natalia Dragoumi recites.
They are accompanied by the choir of the School of Byzantine Music of the Metropolis of Argolis, under the direction of Mr. Dimitris Karkalatos. Orchestration is done by Mr. Giorgos Kotsinis.
The dance group of the Educational Association of Nea Kios participates, under the teaching of Mrs. Theoni Kotsiopoulos.

The venue is situated beside the chapel of Agios Fanourios, on the south side of the "Evangelistria" Church, where there are two large halls, used as a cultural center of the Parish, often used for a group Bible study, for catechism to gatherings of children, etc.
This marvelous "Evangelistria" Church has two sectors (is bi-component) and the left aisle is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, as the right aisle is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
