The 1st Technical and Vocational High School of Kranidi (Argolis) presents in Nafplio its theatrical performance entitled "Lady and the Tramp from school". After two very successful performances in Kranidi, it will be staged at the Trianon Theater of Nafplio, on Thursday, May 11th 2023.
It is a paraphrase of the title of our beloved romantic story "Lady and the Tramp," of this American animated musical film from 1955, produced by Walt Disney. There, we narrate the story of a female American Cocker Spaniel named Lady, who lives with a refined middle-class family, and a male stray mixed-breed dog named Tramp. When the two dogs meet, they embark on a journey filled with romantic adventures and ultimately fall in love.
The story
Mr. Takis and Mrs. Pelagia send their three children to a private college. They have the worst opinion about public schools, especially for vocational high schools (EPAL). However, the children completely disregard the adults' opinions. But what happens, when their eldest daughter chooses an EPAL student as her sweetheart? Will the parents want to know the truth, or are they better off with lies? And when one lie leads to another...?

Actors in the performance are students from the 1st Vocational High School of Kranidi. Nine roles with children from all grades, who collaborated through rehearsals outside school hours. The performance premiered on April 30th 2023, at the events hall of the General High School of Kranidi.
The performance is held under the auspices of the Nafplio Prefectural Administration of Culture and Tourism (DOPPAT), in collaboration with the Municipality of Ermioni.
