For the inhabitants of Nafplio, it is often called "the stone made". For all those who live in the urban landscape, it is simply a paradise.
A place totally blessed, seems like a painting!
I stand before a green estate of 30 acres of olive and orange trees, neat cobblestone streets and beautiful stone detached houses. I have a real painting before me!
The estate belongs to the family, it is well preserved and contains a private small orthodox chapel of St. Paraskevi.
This is where the dream lives
The orange trees that spread in front of us and the characteristic scent of their flowers are overwhelming, while visiting the 13 houses of the estate. With the element of stone dominating, but so well matched with the natural environment, the decoration is based on dark wood, carefully selected handmade furniture with white marble on top, fine white linens and details such as handmade curtains on the windows (these are mom's work), also the fireplace in every house -made from the hands of a Cretan man in Canada- and finally the bathroom with the hydro massage.
The kitchen with everything necessary inside for cooking and for the breakfast, that anyone can make on his own, along with the barbecue area, where you can have a drink with your friends, make those who come here having around everything they need, without going out.
Of course, it is also that outstanding view, that makes our sight and our soul so full, when you face Palamidi fortress and the wonderful city of Nafplio from this height.
Every thought flies away over the Argolic plain, reaches up to the Argolic Bay, dives in it and emerges again, reminding you that nature and tranquility condense the essence of life...
Did you know that?
According to ancient Greek Mythology, Klymeni was the daughter of King Katreas of Crete, granddaughter of King Minos of Knossos. Later on, Klymeni married Nafplios, and became the mother of Palamidis, Oiakas, and Nafsimedon.
The breakfast is rich and includes different kinds of coffee and tea, slices of ham, turkey, toast, yellow cheese, eggs, tomatoes, butter, honey, orange juice, homemade fruit jams from the farm, other fruit from the farm and olives from the olive-grove.
If your family and friends love BBQ, say so when you make your reservation and ask to rent the house next to the outdoor area, where you will find an open-air barbecue and a wood stove, and also picnic tables.
You can rent a studio (ideal for couples), a private bungalow house to enjoy a more direct contact with nature, a one-bedroom apartment overlooking Palamidi castle (ideal for families) or a maisonette with magnificent view, perfect choice for families or groups of friends of up to six people.
