Shindig

In Vivari, in one of the most idyllic locations of Argolis, the all day hangout Shindig awaits you in its elegant and relaxed ambient, to offer you the most carefree summer moments.
Its unparalleled location, its unique view, its picturesque identity... I had many reasons to love Vivari and spend time there during my summers, until the beach bar Shindig opened in July 2021 and since then it became my favorite summer spot.

Summer days with a heavenly view
Climbing just a few steps from the entrance, Shindig welcomes you to its generously open space, in an abstract and elegant environment that welcomes you to a world of relaxation and tranquility. From its very first day of operation, Shindig has caught the eye of every passer-by and visitor. The truth is, the first thing that steals your heart is its location and its generous view of the natural harbor of Vivari, with sailing boats and yachts gracing the endless blue sea with their white presence.

Elegant & aesthetic
With a decoration based on white in a harmonious combination of earthy tones, with the distinctive element of stone and the airy gauzes swaying with the sea breeze, it won over all those who appreciate an unpretentiously elegant environment. Its comfortable sofas in the upper area and its wooden deck chairs on Artemis Beach, just below, await you from morning till night, all summer season long.

What you will do at Shindig, all day
Your day ideally starts in the morning with a good coffee or a freshly squeezed juice made with oranges from Argolis, a chat with your friends and plans for the rest of the day.
Your destination is Artemis beach, where you can relax on the wooden sunbeds with white umbrellas and enjoy your cool dives in the sea. When you've worked up an appetite, you'll order a delicious, light snack from the beach bar and the polite staff of Shindig will make sure it arrives to you at once. If you fall into the "stay on the beach from morning till night" category, you're in the right place, as you can have a drink on your sun lounger a little later or sit at one of the wooden tables on the seafront. 
Personally, I love to be in the upper area of Shindig just before the sun sets and uniquely colors the already charming landscape. It's the perfect time to enjoy a Strawberry- Mastic cocktail and indulge in chill out music and total relaxation in the Jacuzzi's. Can you think of anything better, than sipping your drink, splashing in the Jacuzzi and losing yourself in the vastness of the sea? At night, the setting becomes even more idyllic as the imposing cliffs are uniquely illuminated creating a highly romantic setting.

Ideal all day spot for everyone
Come to Shindig with your boyfriend for romantic moments, with the company of your friends, but also with your family. Kids will love playing and swimming at Artemis beach, which is totally family friendly, while parents will enjoy moments of relaxation on the soft sunbeds.
And as long as you spend the sunny days or the cool summer evenings here, whether you have come for a holiday, or have escaped for the weekend or even if you live here permanently or in the surroundings, Shindig will draw you into its Zen philosophy and will become the perfect place for your summer memories...

In English, 'Shindig' typically means a lively social gathering with dancing, like a party. That's why several parties take place here, where young dancers sway at various points of the bar, dragging the crowd into vivid entertainment...
Shindig is the ideal place for a dream wedding reception or an elegant table for your child's christening, and is also the perfect place for a private lunch/dinner for an anniversary or birthday.
Among its 12 signature cocktails, don't forget to try the Greek and aromatic Strawberry- Mastic.
The Jacuzzi, with a capacity of 4 persons, is ideal for relaxation not only for adults but also for children, always under the supervision of their parents. 
You can park your car in the small municipal parking lot in front of the Shindig or in the large municipal parking lot next to the church.
