Art and art again!
Here, Art is everywhere! Vintage furniture, handmade lightings, stone, wood and pulverized cement as architectural elements highlight the charm of the industrial space, which was transformed into a living space with so much care...Exhibitions of Art, Photography and Crafts are often hosted in the two interior spaces of the Café-Bistrot, as well as in the semi-outdoor Deck. Live music and Dj sets vibrate the evenings of weekends, all year round.
During the summer months and sunny days, the Café-Bistrot expands with its tables all over the main Square, under the mulberries, the plane trees and acacias, next to running waters. This is also where the summer concerts and the annual autumn Jazz Festival of Fougaro take place.

The cuisine
The cuisine of Café-Bistrot, using fine local products and signed by Chef Sakis Golemis, offers Greek and Mediterranean flavors, with menus inspired by the four seasons. The Fougaro Café-Bistrot has repeatedly been distinguished, both by Trip Advisor and by Alpha Guide of Athinorama magazine, as one of the best restaurants in the area, offering "excellent Greek cuisine".
The team of the Café-Bistrot also undertakes the catering of each event, private or corporate, that takes place at the Fougaro Art Center, offering unique care, aesthetics and quality​​​​​ in any case.​

Outdoor bar and "Fougaraki"
From Tuesday to Sunday, Café-Bistrot opens its doors until late at night, with music and cocktails outside the Bar, delicious cuisine, juices and drinks served in the gardens. There, Alekan Sotiropoulos creates for us the most special cocktails, with natural products and seasonal fruits. In the eastern part of the gardens there is also the Canteen named "Fougaraki", having its own menu, especially loved by children and often supporting their own parties!

The place operated in the first half of the 20th century as a tomato canning factory, under the name "Anthos".
A critical cell of Fougaro is the Library of Arts and Humanitarian Studies, which offers open access to knowledge and culture and provides education, information and entertainment services. With 30,000 volumes of books and 150 titles of magazines, publications and newspapers in Greek, English and French, it also has books in Italian, Russian and Spanish.
Significant investments have been made in the exploitation of geothermal energy, in order to cover a large part of the needs for energy of the complex.
