Boutique Hotel Adiandi & Amymoni Traditional Guesthouse
"We're going to Nafplio for a few days. Tell us, where do you think is a nice place to stay?" Due to my special relationship with the charming city of Argolis, this is a question that friends and acquaintances often ask me. And every time I recommend Adiante and Amymoni, their stay turns into a unique experience...
Having artfully combined the intimate luxury of interior design, the magic of contemporary art and the warmth of authentic hospitality, the owners of these hotels, brothers Nikos and Diamantis, have elevated the concept of staying in Nafplio to another level. If you haven't already met and fallen in love with Adiandi and Amymoni, sit back comfortably and join me on a virtual tour of acquaintance and enchantment.

Boutique hotel Adiandi, or rather, what it's like to fall in love with a hotel
Walking down Othonos Street, it's almost impossible not to stop and gaze at its facade, adorned with rich vegetation that climbs the stone walls between the green windows, reaching the charming balcony and extending high towards the picturesque rooftop. Its traditional entrance invites you to cross it, and in an instant, you are engulfed by a familiar atmosphere, as if you've just entered the beautiful home of dear friends. The family's sons, Sotiris and Panagiotis, welcome me in the bright coffee area, and as I await the refreshing coffee they offer me, I surrender to the unparalleled charm of the place. The harmoniously blended earthy tones, the presence of stone and the wooden beams of Nafplio's past perfectly frame the unique works of art. Yes, Adiandi captivates you at first glance. And this is only a very promising beginning, as I enter the suites and rooms hosted on the floors, where you begin to feel the philosophy that permeates the boutique hotel.
The spaces in the superior rooms and junior suites of Adiante exude warmth, hospitality, tranquility, and familiarity, with the decor winking at the boldness of the different and the enchantment of the original. Regardless of which room you choose for your stay, an admirable combination of modern and romantic, luxury and comfort, minimalism, and traditional architecture awaits you. With wood, stone, and iron as primary materials, each room introduces itself with its own identity through effortlessly elegant furnishings, impressive upcycling choices, and artistic creations by the Italian Francesco Moretti.
Every door that opens is a small revelation, and without intending to unravel the mystery of the surprise that awaits you, I share elements that won me over. In the enchanting Junior Suite Cleopatra, I highlight the private staircase leading to the attic of the building with a view of the entire Palamidi castle, and in the Junior Suite Chrissipi, I am captivated by the restful off-white shade and the cozy corner with cotton mattresses and pillows. Equally atmospheric is the environment in the Superior Room Nilo, the Superior Room Aktei, and the Superior Rooms Aditi and Rodia with their balconies, while the Double Room Oimi with its recyclable materials proves to be wonderfully alternative. If you come to Nafplio with your significant half, to immerse yourself in the romantic atmosphere of the city, Adiandi will provide the ideal setting for unique moments of tenderness and relaxation.

Dreamy Breakfast
With the accommodation areas already having won you over and the kindness and service of the staff making you feel comfortable and at home, rest assured that there is still a strong weapon in Adiandi's arsenal, and that is definitely its breakfast. In the absolutely cozy space of Adiandi cafe, a rich Greek breakfast awaits you in the morning, with homemade flavors made from pure and fresh products by the owners' family. The buffet is filled every day with sweet and savory flavors, from freshly baked cakes, biscuits, cookies and homemade jams, to handmade pies, dairy products from the family creamery, and eggs from grandma's henhouse. Along with a coffee, tea, or a fresh juice from the family orchard's oranges, your day couldn't start more ideally just before your stroll through the picturesque alleys of Nafplio or your day trips in the surrounding areas.

Amymoni Traditional Guesthouse: The Essence of Art and Enjoyment
On the same picturesque Othonos street, just a few steps from Adiandi, the traditional Amymoni guesthouse is housed in a mansion with charming neoclassical architecture and interior spaces of unique aesthetic. Here, the elevation of the arts of painting, sculpture, and photography, through the artistic vision of Francesco Moretti, makes the guesthouse unique in its kind.
The entrance wall is adorned with the grandfather's bicycle of Dimitra -an invaluable vintage addition and at the same time an invocation of emotion. Climbing the stairs, you discover the 9 rooms of the guesthouse, competing with each other in aesthetics, originality and harmony. Olive, Myrtle, Hyacinth, Anemone, Sunflower (Ilianthos), Iris, Rose, Lavender (Levanda)... Besides the Deluxe Attic, each room has its own name, inspired by Greek nature, a name that is even introduced to you from the exterior of each door.
An element that immediately attracts the eye and stimulates the senses, is the impressive art headboards of the beds, made from recycled wood and old wooden shutters, capturing female silhouettes, retro memories, personal dedications...
In the Olive and Myrtle junior suites, the comfortable living rooms await their guests for moments of relaxation and tranquility, accompanied by aromatic tea and a good book. In the elegant Deluxe Attic, you won't tire of gazing from your window at the rooftops of the old town and Palamidi castle, while from the terrace, the sea and Bourtzi fortress will generously unfold before you.
In the Sunflower double room, the absolute highlight is the headboard with dedications from guests, as well as the view from the balcony onto the alley with the bougainvillea. If you're a music lover, you'll appreciate the double room Anemone, with its red headboard and a drum as a table, adding its own aesthetic background to the space. The Double Rooms Hyacinth and Iris may not be renowned for their size, but they certainly encapsulate warmth, familiarity and a unique aesthetic. Personally, I think I love them a bit more. And of course, if you don't want or can't climb stairs, you can request one of the ground floor double rooms, the romantically styled Rose or the country-style Lavender.

Breakfast with a Greek signature at the Wild Duck
Staying in these unique and truly distinctive spaces, the only thing that will make you leave your room is the always charming explorations of the old town, as well as the truly exceptional, rich Greek breakfast with handmade flavors, served at the Wild Duck restaurant, just a few steps from the guesthouse.
Whether you choose Adiandi or Amymoni for your stay, it is certain that it will transform your holidays in Nafplio into a mystique that combines ultimate relaxation, high-level aesthetics and endless enjoyment. And the next time you come back to Nafplio, you won't need to ask me where to stay. Your heart will know to guide you...

Did you know that?
The boutique hotel Adiandi and the Amymone Traditional Guesthouse owe their names to two of the 50 daughters of Danaus, known as Danaides.
The rooms are equipped with natural sleep products from COCO-MAT company, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep, while the bathrooms follow a minimalist style, providing wonderful amenities.
The Stavropoulos family is also the owner of the exceptional Amymone Suites, as well as the distinguished Wild Duck restaurant, where it is worth enjoying a meal or dinner for two.
